Johnny Appleseed Day

Since we celebrate Mr. Appleseed in September, you can see that things are running a little behind here on the blog.

George and I read all manner of things apple and Appleseed-related, and his first grade class had the requisite unit on apples. It was an honor to go to school to help his first grade class make homemade applesauce.
