Fifth Grade Loose Ends

There were a couple of pics posted of the girls' class after graduation. 

For locals, you know how big of a deal it is with James Spann visits school. For non-locals, we have a famous meteorologist, a gentleman so talented he has had countless opportunities to leave for the national market. However, he remains true to his roots and has become a local legend. By local standards, he has a huge social media following, and when he visits, it's really special.  

Lastly, the PTA had monthly $1 fundraisers each month this year.  One such Friday was the extra recess day, wherein if a student brought a dollar, s/he got to have extra recess time. This was probably our most popular fundraiser of the series.  

We love seeing those sweet smiles.
