William George had a headache over the weekend, and then woke up with a slight fever on Monday. He progressively felt worse, and then had to miss his baseball game Monday night. (They played so GREAT, but came up one point short. The team told him they were playing for him! So, so sweet!)
At his appointment this morning they were certain he had strep, and the lab ladies were expecting him to be transported to Children's. As it turned out, he was negative for strep and positive for mono. He has no energy, can barely walk and just so uncharacteristically still.
This little guy is out of school or the next week (possibly two), is unable to play baseball and is going to have to wait this nasty virus out.
