When we were in Boston, Skip had a work event/outing to see the Red Sox play. Skip's boss was unable to go, and gave his ticket to George, who was THRILLED. George had a great time at the game, talking with all of Skip's friends from work. One guy in particular promised George he would help him catch a fly ball... that he would make sure he had a baseball from Fenway. Unfortunately, a foul ball never came there way.
However, some special mail came George's way today. Mr. Clay picked up a ball for George that night on his way out of the stadium, and mailed it to him as a souvenir.
George's day was MADE. This baseball is now one of George's prized possessions.
Such a thoughtful gesture!
