My mom had a really busy week this past week, and we had planned to regroup with her for her birthday celebration. However, we were pleasantly surprised when she was able to carve out time (HA!) for a birthday dinner. Instead of going out, she asked for a grilled hamburger. Even when we offered the option of a grilled steak, she stuck with hamburger.
Also, we had a family favorite: coconut cake.
