While complaints about the weather appear frequently on this site, special efforts have been taken not to complain over the July 4th weekend. Something tells me the founding fathers would not find my mumblings about the rainy nature of this weekend impressive, in light of the many considerations and sacrifices they were contemplating in the weeks and months leading up to July 4, 1776.

Skip took the trio to the park today. During their visit, rain fell sporadically, but they played anyway.
