So back before Halloween, on the 24th, we celebrated Skip's birthday. Skip and I had a date night on the 23rd, wherein we had our favor Thai, and then I think we watched a movie. We had one of those good dates where we confer and plan about various things... home projects, vacations, futures, etc.
On the 24th, we had everyone together for a family dinner. Skip grilled steak, and the girls helped with sides. And, of course, Skip had his favorite -- caramel cake. This is actually Publix's caramel crunch cake -- hold the pecans, to accommodate William George's allergies. Skip said it was the best caramel cake ever, and he could only image how decadent it would be coated in crushed pecans.
We love this guy so much, and wish him the very best in the upcoming year.
