The creative principal at the duo's school implemented a new attendance incentive a couple of months ago. Over a two week period, perfect attendance (plus homework completion and good performance on the behavioral chart) will earn a student a ticket to a talent show on Friday. Of the qualifying students who have met the requirements, a few will randomly be selected to perform. To make it really fun, some of the faculty/staff are also chosen to perform.
Recently, the girls were selected, and they chose to dance. Instead of performing a routine from last year's recital together (our suggestion), they opted to perform a ballet (Lauren) and tap (Grace) routine of their own making. Also, they had 24 hours to prepare.

The students love this! Also, it has the added benefit of working... attendance stats have risen. Yay for creativity!
