William George turns SIX on July 12th. Although in past years he has been somewhat bashful about having birthday parties, this year he was game and very much wanted to celebrate at a local aquatic center. We had fantastic weather in the morning and afternoon, although we had a little thunder (and the above ominous clouds), moving us to the indoor pool for a few minutes.
George's sweet friends from school and baseball came to help him celebrate, along with our family.
We swam for a couple of hours and then had a little pizza and cupcakes.
George's friends gifted him with the coolest gifts... everyone was much too generous, but I definitely see a lot of playdates in the future.
Can you tell this kindergarten crew was very tight?
We grabbed as many of our friends as we could for a photo, but we missed a few sweet friends who had already left. (Better late than never on the photo!)
After the party officially ended, the trio wanted to stay and swim, along with a few friends, so we did.

George said that this was the very best party ever, and he really enjoyed seeing his family and catching up with his precious friends.
