Yes, we are still celebrating.
Yesterday we celebrated all things George. We had some uncharacteristic neighborhood developments so we adjusted our plans a little. After George's breakfast of choice (Fruit Loops), we had some fun playing all the games George wanted, and then we had some fun watching all of George's favorite shows and movies while snuggling on the sofa.
That afternoon we went to the movies for George's pick -- Cars 3 -- which he loved. For dinner, he chose pizza at California Pizza Kitchen where he and his sister demolished some cheese pizza, and we had sundaes for dessert. As for his cake, George voted to have cake on his birthday eve (and after lunch on his birthday), and since it is his birthday, that is exactly what we did.
Happy birthday, George! We loved celebrating you!
PS: This year the girls picked out presents for George and purchased them with their own hard-earned money. Lauren selected a Darth Vader alarm clark, and Gracie chose a "deluxe" police officer uniform with accessories. This made for the sweetest gifts ever, and George was very appreciative.
