William George has had an awesome first year of elementary school. He has really enjoyed first grade, has happily reunited with his best buddy and has made lots of new friends as well. Oh, and he has learned a lot, too. He ended the year with some awesome achievement scores, and we are so happy for him to have that tangible information of how he is doing.
(They have eliminated the standard grading system for first and second graders, much to our frustration.)
His EOY party was an ice cream social, and this couldn't have been a better theme for George. He LOVES ice cream!
He is going to miss his beloved teacher, but otherwise is excited to see what second grade brings!
Way to go, George!
