Easter, Part II

Eggs, eggs and more eggs!

The weekend prior to Easter, we went to an old fashioned egg hunt at Gran and Poppa's church. The girls had a wonderful time playing games and hunting eggs.

We then touched base with our neighbors, who happen to be very close friends of the Easter Bunny, and they invited us over for an egg hunt -- so very thoughtful of them to share their special time with their handsome grandchildren.

Making our way over:

The girls get so excited and tend to run around wildly not even bothering to look for eggs.  Every now and then, an egg crosses their field of vision.

Tada!

The girls had so much fun and talked about egg hunting for the rest of the night.  Oh, and they enjoyed all the loot they found inside their eggs! Woot!

They also enjoyed their goody bag!  Really, far too kind.

Since the above dresses still fit (they were last year's Easter dresses), I got some more wear out of them for the egg hunt.  In a moment of nostalgia, I scrolled back to last year's album to compare fit.  Here are the sweet 4 1/2 year olds of last year:

How does this happen?

Many thanks to Liberty Baptist and the Rhodes family for sharing their egg hunts with us!
