Status Update

Hello and happy Monday.

1) Bathing William George is like bathing a cat.  He stands at the side of the tub, repeatedly tries to throw his leg over the side to get out, and protests the entire time.

2) We took a quick trip to the beach as a final summer farewell.  I cannot wait to get the photos ready to share!

3) Confession: I am one of those people who love vacation photos.

4) Today marked the beginning of the fourth week of school, and we are having challenges with the student to teacher ratio.  We are up to 37 students in the kindergarten class, and those children are being managed (I see no way to apply the word "taught" here) by a teacher and an aide.  We contacted the principal and her superior at the Board (with the Principal's blessing) last week.  The decision makers are meeting today to identify a solution.  Please pray that they make the right decision and split the class into two classes, enabling them to comply with the 1:18 requirement.

5)  I misspoke over the weekend.  Lauren was looking at the Steve Jobs' biography and asked questions about his photo.  I said, "Lauren, that is the man who engineered and created your iTouch."  She said, "I thought Santa made that."

Have a fantastic day.
