Gracie and Lauren recently performed at their annual piano recital.
They worked on their songs for many weeks and were ready for the big day.

After performing, their teacher presented awards to her students. Lauren received a "perfectionism" award, and Gracie received a special award - her first place blue ribbon - for "most improved student". Of course, they both received crowns because their instructor knows the way to their hearts is via sparkle.
They were so nervous this year, and playing with the duet accompaniment added a degree of difficulty for them. They did a great job, and my heart came very close to exploding. Good job, Gracie and Lauren!
