How was your weekend, friends?
Ours was low key and started off with the trio having a family date night with us Friday. They choose Milo's, and then we went to the park afterward for them to play.
George had a baseball game Saturday so we spent the morning getting ready for that. After last Saturday's home run, he has decided he wants to hit a HR every time, and we have had to explain that it doesn't really work that way and that the more one tries to hit a home run the less likely one is to do so. However, he had three great at-bats, and he made a couple of outs as well. After baseball we all showered (90 degree day + baseball field dust = not good), and the trio voted to order pizza.
If you pay close attention to George's second bat, you'll see that Skip didn't quite make it out of the way of the ball.

We went to church Sunday and afterward the trio visited with Gran and Poppa while Skip and I grabbed lunch and ran errands. We are getting ready to make some updates/changes to our home so we walked through a few houses being shown in a "parade of homes" all of which made us realize we have some work to do. Ha! However, we are up for it.
Lastly, with it being May 1st, the trio have turned their eyes on the calendar... George has 15 days remaining, and the duo have 20. The countdown has officially begun!
