How is it that the weekend already seems so far in the past?
We kicked off the weekend with Cinco de Mayo and having chips/queso and tacos at home. Skip prompted us to work off our carbs Saturday morning by performing some yard work before George's game. We had a quick lunch, picked up Grammie and went to George's game. The A's had a great game (George was 3/3 on batting and made a couple of outs, too).

Saturday also happened to be our anniversary so we grilled steak for dinner and celebrated as a family. We talked the girls into keeping it low key (v the big dining room scene), and it was perfect. Twelve years and counting.
We went to church Sunday and managed to work in a celebratory lunch and movie Sunday afternoon. When we planned our wedding for May 6th, we clearly were not thinking about baseball season and the busyness of May, but we still managed to have a moment to reflect.
