Pancakes



Last week I made homemade buttermilk pancakes, primarily because the girls wanted pancakes and also because I had some buttermilk that needed to be used (when, exactly, did I become my grandmother, what with needing to use buttermilk?).

Anyrate, I made some delicious buttermilk pancakes from a very simple (really) Martha Stewart recipe. The above pic shows the bountiful yield.

The girls prefer a frozen brand of pancakes from Wal-Mart. After spending the better part of an hour making enough pancakes for breakfast for the next three days (they reheat great, warm in the oven, preferably on a pizza stone or pan, at 350 degrees), Lauren said, "No mommy's pancakes today? No mommy's? Mommy's pancakes tomorrow?"
