Fall Update

The trio have had a super busy fall. We have had open house, bring-a-friend to lunch, book fair and homecoming.

We also had a big fundraiser, 4H camp, a food drive and a school carnival. Skip was introducing me to some fellow Scout parents recently, and they said, "Oh, yes, you work at the school!"

No, I'm just there all the time.

To catch up, here's a brief run down of events.  First, we had bring-a-friend to lunch. Gran and Poppa joined us on two days to lunch with George and the girls. (Grammie was sick and unable to attend.)

We also had an Open House. Lauren and Grace's class have been studying the book "Wonder" and created self-portraits based on that book.

Meanwhile, George has been having the best time, having been reunited with his best bud from K2-K4.  They are having a blast and have managed to be allowed to sit at the same table for the whole first semester.

George had lots of work to share at the Open House.

George likes P.E., recess and library.

The girls also had a science lab.

The trio also had a great time at the Book Fair. I love the book fair so much, even if it means we spend a small fortune each year on books.

The fifth graders had a special field trip to the middle/high school's homecoming parade. They are super excited to transition next year.

We have had a great fall, are looking forward to the holidays and are eager about the second semester.
