Cinderella at Children's Theatre

A couple of weeks ago, the Cinderella production at our local Children's Theatre began playing.  We attempted to get tickets, but the first weekend was sold out.  Man, do I love seeing our theatre have success with its shows!  We quickly scored tickets for the following weekend (and the last show) of this production.

Although we knew this wouldn't be Disney's version of Cinderella, the duo insisted on wearing their Cinderella dresses anyway.  They were not the only Disney Cinderella's in attendance, for sure.  As is our usual experience, the show was fantastic, the actors were both professional and friendly and the theatre staff could not have been more friendly.  Children's Theatre is one of my favorite things about our city.

After the show, we went through the line for the usual meet and greet.

The stepmother was portrayed as villainous (of course), but the duo adored her anyway.

The Fairy Godmother-in-training was the unsung hero and star of the show.  She sang so many numbers that she was literally breathless after the show (her second performance of the day).  The duo said she reminded them of Aunt Lisa.

The duo were feeling a little photo-friendly after the show and consented to a couple of pics.

We cannot wait to see the rest of the shows lined up for this season - the 66th season!
