We're not prone to drama around here. So, today, we embarked on the new routine by meeting the new teachers for next year. Lauren was especially excited to get to meet her teacher, and Gracie was very happy to get to see her good friend, Ms. Diana. In fact, Gracie climbed onto Ms. Diana's lap, and I was beginning to think she would spend the weekend with Diana and simply ride to school with her on Monday. For reasons that we think are best for the girls, we requested separate classrooms. Luckily, their classrooms are next to each other, and they will be able to have recess and lunch together, making it the best of both worlds.
They are showing their school spirit already.
George was a huge hit with all of our friends there. We tried to register him as well, but he is just a smidge shy of their minimum age requirement.
All of our supplies have been delivered, and we are ready to hit the ground running on Monday.
