Honorary pets

Today on Kelly's site we are discussing pets.  Sadly, we lost our pets a couple of years ago, and we have not yet attempted to have more.  Instead, we have befriended a couple of neighborhood kitties.  We named the first cat we discovered "Charlie Brown".  Below is a shot of Charlie Brown meeting Baby George for the first time. 

As it turns out, Charlie Brown made a friend (my husband refers to his friend as "Cheetoh"), and they quickly added four kittens to our neighborhood. 

We talked to Charlie's owner and learned that he eventually managed to gather all of the kittens in his basement while he was placing them in loving homes.  He also made an appointment for Charlie to see the veterinarian.  Now, Charlie and Cheetoh are just friends. 

Charlie and Cheetoh visit whenever we are playing outdoors.  While we miss having pets of our own, we enjoy the opportunity to visit with our feline friends.
