Prayers for Sarah

Sarah and Sumit, wedding reception, March 2011

We received the below Facebook post from Skip's Aunt Kathy, concerning Sarah. Since I am relatively new to the Facebook experience, I still do not have all the ins/outs down with reposting and all those other things.

But I definitely want to get their prayer request posted here (and then I at least know how to link this back to Facebook). Sarah was diagnosed with Adrenal Cortical Cancer in April of 2010. Please read Kathy's note for her latest treatment, and please keep this brave family in your daily thoughts/prayers in the weeks and months to come.

Via Kathy Lindsey's Facebook page on 10-06-11:
As many of you know, Sarah has had a very difficult struggle with her Adrenal Cortical Cancer progression in the past several months. We have a specific prayer request for all of our family and friends, and if you could pass it along to your family and friends and churches. Sarah came home from the hospital this late afternoon, and will be admitted to hospice home care services tomorrow. We are asking for a commitment to daily prayer in the next several weeks, first in Praise and worship to our Lord and Creator God for all He provides, and second in thanksgiving for the life and gifts and purpose He created Sarah to be in His service, and third, in His presence, and power and peace and healing for Sarah to walk in His will and purpose!! We feel that these prayers by a community of believers will have a powerful impact on each person and will impact the world in ways we may never know, until eternity. We discussed this as a family, and feel we have received so many blessings through this tough walk, and yet, God is not accomplished his finished product yet. We know that prayers are being offered around the world, and God is capturing thehearts and changing all of our lives, through the pain of Sarah's illness. We are at peace with whatever God plan is, but ask for these prayers at this most difficult time of Sarah's and our own lives.
"But now abide faith, hope and love, these three: but the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians13:13. We have not given up hope, and know that love endures through all of eternity. We have all been greatly blessed beyond our wildest dreams!
