London's Victoria and Albert Museum is currently showing David Bowie Is, a collection of 300 items from Bowie's personal archive - including costumes spanning his five-decade career. His collection is extensive because, in the words of the curators, "he kept everything."
My favorite is the Union Jack coat, co-designed by Steve McQueen and David Bowie.
